BIG V WEEKEND WRAP

As the Big V season reaches it’s business end, the results of the weeks leading in often have ramifications and can send any team in the league on a downward spiral or strap a rocket pack to their back ! As it currently stands, taking into account the weekend’s results, our State Championship Men and Women both still factor into finals contention despite losses on the weekend that they will be looking to bounce back from.

Our Men are 2 wins outside the finals picture, while our Women are 1 win outside – both with 3 rounds remaining … so it’s going to be an all out sprint to the finish line ! Our Youth Men are like butter – they’re on a roll ! Winners of 4 in a row and currently sitting in the top 3 of their division, 2 wins out of first place and a genuine championship threat. Our Youth Women have had an up and down season, but results elsewhere have gone their way and they sit only 1 win outside the finals equation in their competition.

Of note this weekend was the exceptionally entertaining  and awe inspiring performance from our friends at Jets Gymnastics – the gymnasts performed during our Sunday double header and it didn’t take long for them to captivate the crowd and win everyone over. Well done to all involved and we can’t wait to have you back to perform and collaborate with us again !
