Youth League Round 8 Preview
Both our Victorian Youth Championship sides have 2 games this weekend, on the road Saturday evening and then back home for a huge Sunday double-header!
Victoria Youth Championship Women
The VYCW Eagles head to Wantirna Saturday night to face the Knox Raiders. The Eagles are coming off a ‘buzzer-beating’ loss Sunday, and will be looking for two wins this weekend. Knox and Hawthorn are both coming off losses as well, meaning the Eagles are due for two physical match-ups.
Victorian Youth Championship Men
The VYCM have had a tough start to 2018, but have an opportunity to turn their luck around this weekend with games against Mckinnon and Hawthorn. The Cougars have lost their last 2 games, and are returning home for the first time in 3 weeks so will be keen to get back in front of their fans. Hawthorn sits on top of the ladder, having lost just the 3 games this season. The Men will have to bring their ‘A game’ to get two wins this weekend.
