Basketball Australia High Performance Coach Peter Lonergan delivered a highly informative clinic on Sunday at Diamond Valley Basketball Stadium.

We had 15 coaches from a range of coaching levels who were able to spare 90 minutes attending this great clinic. The clinic’s focus was decision making, passing and creating options to inbound the ball from out of bounds. Peter’s ability to teach these aspects was remarkable as he made sure it was detailed but also not complicated for coaches to teach throughout their own teams.  

The turnout was pleasing especially under the circumstances of being Mother’s Day and the audience could not have asked for more in regards to ideas and information that will assist in improving certain aspects of players.

The DVBA wants to thank all the coaches that came along to this clinic and hope that this clinic did benefit in enhancing their coaching ability. The DVBA would like to thank Peter Lonergan for giving up his time to help develop our coaching program, it is honour to have someone of that level share his knowledge with us at the DVBA. We will have more coaching clinics moving forward so don’t miss out on these opportunities. We would also like to thank the Under 16.3 Eagles girls team for being demonstrators on the day.
