Mother's Day Event Recap
Our Mother’s Day Event was a huge successs. The DVBA would like to thank all of the mums and families that came down to our event on Saturday night. It was an opportunity for us to be able to share our appreciation for all of our mother’s who have helped us get to where we are today.
Plenty of prizes were won through the night, one of those prizes being for the online competition with the
winner being Jill Gooch. Like many she worked hard until 65 to support her family but the reason we thought she deserved to be pampered was for her efforts over the last few years. This included nursing her daughter through health issues which eventually took her life 3 years ago at the age of 48. To think that was enough
she is now nursing her husband through heart disease while being 5 years in remission after battling with her own melanoma cancer.
We would like to also say a big THANK YOU to all of the vendors who donated towards this event. Chemist Warehouse Group, Jsala Soy Candles, Hoyts, KX Pilates Eltham, Birdsnest, Jean Hailes Foundation, Colin's Place, Diamond Valley AutoCare, Branch and Bell and Natalie Dawson Hairdressing.
