DIAMOND VALLEY’S BEYONDBLUE BASH
In our final week of the season, Diamond Valley took the opportunity to create a double header with Hume City to be our Beyondblue Bash, raising awareness and support for sufferers of depression and anxiety.
Beyondblue gives people the confidence to support themselves or those around them, and makes anxiety, depression and suicide part of everyday conversations. They aim too to tackle stigma, prejudice and discrimination - breaking down the barriers that prevent people from speaking up and reaching out.
We would like to thank everyone for packing out the stands for our final night, donating items to the raffle and raising money through our cake stall and games. We are happy to say we raised $696.00 for Beyondblue. Our valued sponsor, Electrocom Solutions have agreed to match this figure to donate to Beyondblue ! We think that is amazing and thank them for generously joining us in supporting a worthy cause !
