Wow. What an amazing day ! On Sunday, Diamond Valley Basketball was on show and our stadium was THE place to be ! You could feel the buzz everywhere.

100s upon 100s of fans packed the stands on court 1, filled the seats on courts 2, 3 and 4 and found any room they could stand in between - to be part of the festivities at our Big V Basketball​ Family Day and Singlet Presentation. We got to see our Big V Men and Women in full flight.

Our players got to connect with all our young fans in a free on-court clinic, filling up all courts with enthusiastic young hoopers and our Big V players sharing their basketball tips and secrets.

Our players got to compete against kids of all ages in an NBA All Star-style shootout.

We got to witness the high-flying antics of our players in the dunk contest.

Our players got to team up with some special representatives from our DVBA Domestic clubs and become teammates in an exhibition match.

We got to see our Big V players presented with their 2016 playing jerseys – the first look at the role models that our young players can look up to.

But most importantly, we had the opportunity to connect with YOU.

Every person that walks in the door at Diamond Valley, every young player that pulls on a domestic jersey, or an Eagles jersey is part of our Diamond Valley Basketball Family.

Sunday was just another step towards creating an Association and a place that we can all be proud of and that we can each call our Basketball home.

Thank you for being part of it.

The players that you met and connected with can’t wait to represent you, and our Association this Big V season.

And they can’t wait to feel your support at our games.
