The beast is back in red and white for the coming Big V State Championship Men’s season ! Brad Bridgewater re-signs with the Eagles to again be the mountain in the middle that commands a lot of attention from opposition teams.

‘Brad re-signing is a great show of faith in the program and direction we’re wanting to head in 2016. He brings a lot to the table both on and off the court as a veteran in the league and at some of the highest levels in the game’, Head Coach Alan McAughtry said.

‘He will again be our anchor, and with the people we’ve put around him it will give him more time and space to be the potent scorer and rebounder we’ve seen of him.

Brad is well loved by the Diamond Valley Basketball community and has put in time working with our domestic clubs during his years with the club. His presence on the court can be game changing – as he is capable of a double-double in any given game, highlighted by standout performances of 24 points and 12 rebounds against Hawthorn and 20 points and 14 rebounds against Hume last season.

‘I am really impressed with the shape Brad is in. I believe with more fire power around him at the offensive end, Brad will have a better scoring season in 2016. Fingers crossed there will be more rebounds and dunks ! It is great to have Brad back for 2016’, DVBA CEO Ross Wignell added.
