Recently a long serving Eagles Coach, Mark Alabakov accepted the SEABL Women’s Head Coaching Position with the Melbourne Tigers Basketball club.

Mark has been given a great opportunity and one that he coveted for so long with his recent appointment as the Head Coach of a SEABL program. The experience he has gained throughout his time with the Eagles and his WNBL roles with Townsville, Melbourne Boomers and the Sydney Uni Flames will hold him in good stead as he enters the SEABL for the first time as a head coach. Mark has been a big part of the junior program at Diamond Valley and our ever growing academy program which has seen many junior Eagles athletes prosper under tutelage of  “The Count” as he is known by many at the club.
