The DVBA are proud to have conducted yet another series Northern Basketball Camps for 2017 which featured high quality instruction with our elite calibre coaching staff. Our final series of Northern Basketball Camps for 2017 was a great success with almost 300 athletes refining their basketball skills ahead of our Junior Eagles Tryouts.

This past school holidays we have conducted 9 days of camps which have included 4 Diamond Valley Development camps, which catered for children in the Under 12 and Under 14 age groups. The 2 day camps were a great opportunity for Junior Domestic players looking to break into our Junior Eagles program, allowing them to learn and work on the skills required to approach the next level of their basketball pathway.  We gave all athletes the opportunity to learn from some of our elite coaches, including Zoe Carr (SEABLE Women’s Coach), Braden Cotter (Youth League Men’s Coach) and Brendan Jackson (Youth League Women’s Coach).

Another camp included in this school break was our highly sought after Domestic Camp, which once again reached capacity this year. The 1 day camp was dedicated to educating and developing athletes from our domestic programs. This allowed us the opportunity to help grow individual skill and knowledge into more than 100 local basketball players.

We would like to thank all of our campers, coaches and just as importantly, the parents and guardians of our athletes in providing the opportunity for the Northern Camp’s Program to enhance the playing ability of the Junior Basketballers in attendance.
