U18/2 Girls Diamond Valley

The 18-2 girls have improved as they progress through the season. Currently focusing on playing tough defence to generate easy points, the girls have had some good wins over tough opponents.
Each game has had stand out performances by different players, which has shown the depth of ability and commitment to the team. Not every game has gone according to plan with some poor decision making hampering the teams winning streak. An amazing 18 point turn around recently, secured the win against Knox 2 and really showed the talent and tenacity the girls possess.
This Friday’s game is away vs Dandenong 2, a game that could go either way. If we come out focused on the things we do well and are able to disrupt the opposition’s game plan, we should take the points on this game.
U16/6 Boys Diamond Valley

The U16-6 boys are having a great season to date, the boys are learning plays and putting them into play on game nights. It is a really great team and the boys bonding well. We are currently sitting 2nd on the ladder.
Last Sunday we had a great training run and a scrimmage against the under 18-1 girls which helps put our plays into action. This Friday we host Corio Bay 2 who are currently sitting 8th which will be a hard game for the team.
