Former Eagle makes his debut as a Tiger

Former Diamond Valley Eagle, Greg Page made his debut with the Melbourne Tigers NBL team in their pre season practice game vs the Sydney Kings last Saturday night. Greg has been working under Guy Molloy while attending the ACB program and played his first season in the SEABL competition this year since leaving the Eagle’s program.

“It was a pleasure to see Greg get some playing time against Sydney and from the vision I saw, he did not look out of place at all. The test will be to work hard at practice and try and earn more minutes as the season progresses. It has happened very quickly for Greg as it is hard to imagine he was playing in the Youth League team just last season. We are very, very proud of Greg at Diamond Valley he is a great ambassador for the club and for juniors who want to reach a goal and keep fighting when you get knock backs” – Alan McAughtry

“It was an awesome opportunity and obviously another step up in level, I just wanted to show the coaching staff that I want to compete “– Greg Page
