Barry Hall is a chance to play at Broadford again in season 2014.
After taking out the Roos 2013 Best & Fairest award after his six games in blue and white returned 54 goals and increased both the profile and the gate attendances for the Broadford FNC, Hall is "poised" to re-sign with the Roos again for 2014, according to Broadford secretary Bonnie Cavanagh.
One of the main reasons that Hall returned to the Harley Hammond Reserve in 2013 was due to the appointment of close friend Aaron "Skip" Bray as senior coach, and Bray's re-appointment to the top job in 2014 gives the Roos a better-than-average chance of retaining the services of the former AFL premiership captain as they look to push towards an RDFNL finals berth next season.
The club's AGM last Wednesday did indicate that there will be a slight changing of the guard at the Roos next season, with club legend and life member Alan Sharp taking over the reigns as President from Andrew Donovan. Paul Dunbar and Jason Slade will take over as Senior and Junior Vice President's respectively, with Cavanagh again serving as club Secretary.
Apart from Bray, the club is yet to announce its 2014 coaches, and are set to do so in the coming weeks for both the remaining football and all netball grades.
