Former St Kilda, Sydney and Western Bulldogs superstar Barry Hall will play his 300th game of senior football when he takes to the field for Broadford this weekend in the Melton Toyota Riddell District Football Netball League
Hall's 299 senior games to date span his entire AFL career, plus games with Wangaratta Rovers in 2012 and Broadford's three home games played so far in season 2013.
Broadford will welcome Hall with open arms this week as they take on local rivals Wallan, a club that Hall lined up with at junior level, at Broadford's Harley Hammond Reserve this Saturday 15th June at 2:00pm.
Hall, who has kicked 27 goals from his three appearances for Broadford in 2013 - good for fifth on the RDFNL goalkicking table, will be desperate to help pull the Kangaroos out of a nosedive, with Broadford having lost five consecutive matches after starting the season with a pair of wins.
The game will be broadcast live from Harley Hammond Reserve on Saturday by local community radio station 98.3 OKR FM.
