On Thursday 7 September 2017 Jason Mayer was involved in a terrible truck accident that saw him having to be airlifted by Westpac Rescue Helicopter to John Hunter Hospital.

Jason had to undergo immediate surgery and has a long road to recovery.

Jason is the sole income earner for their beautiful family so Coffs Harbour Basketball Association, friends and family would like to raise funds to help with medical expenses, rehabilitation costs as well as lost income so that Donna and their 3 girls can concentrate on getting him well without the strain of finances.

Jason, Donna and their 3 girls are a major part of Coffs Harbour Basketball with the girls playing, Jason volunteering his time as a representative coach and Donna always there to lend a hand.  We have set up a GoFundMe page to help raise some much needed support for them:
