IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL USERS OF THE LEAGUENET SYSTEM
Since online self-registrations were introduced there are been some minor issues for new players attempting to register to a club for the first time or a coach or match official attempting to register when he has previously been in the system as a player or vice versa. The system was identifying these individuals as requiring a clearance. This was due to an existing record being identified within the database.
We are happy to inform you that a solution have been developed. An individual registering to play rugby league in a club for the first time (New Player) will now be able to register online irrespective if they have an existing record in a another part of the databaseie. Back Yard League, Holiday Clinics, Education Courses or Referees Associations.
Please note the system will still restrict an individual from registering as new if they are either:
- A Returning Player- a player returning to the same Club in which they were last registered to. Returning players will still be required to enter their username & password to re-register.
- A Player changing Clubs- A player wanting to play for a different club will require a clearance.
This new function will also minimise the number duplicates league administrator’s need to resolve.
How does it work?
The attached tip sheet will provide you with an overview of the process.
