2015 Capricorn Trials Results

The Central Highlands Junior Rugby League competed in the 2015 Capricorn trials last weekend in Gladstone. 2015 will go down as one of the most successful tours the Central Highlands has competed in; we would like to thank and congratulate all the players and staff who participated and put in 100% effort to ensuring the success of our representative teams.

All teams competed with enthusiasm and pride showing dedication and love of the game.  Throughout the carnival our teams saw mixed success with some blow out scores from several grades, this is a contrast to the past whereby the Highlands has been less competitive. A huge thank you to the support staff for all your work in developing our young players. I believe that the selection trial process played a big part in this success and hope that the format introduced this year will continue.

In 2015 we are lucky enough to have 17 players selected to Represent in the Central Queensland Capras team; this could possibly be a record for the CHJRL, showing what great talent we have in the Highlands!  Congratulations on your hard work and dedication.
