The Committee has approved a request from the Coolangatta Tweed Heads Australian Football Club to enter a team in the Summerland League competition for season 2010.

The "Blues" have two senior teams playing in the AFL Queensland competition and their SAFL side will be based around under 23 and developing players. Their reasons for entry are their desire to ensure that as many of their registered players get to play a game of football each week and to support & promote the game in the Northern Rivers.

They will play the majority of their games on Sundays and their home ground is Les Peak Oval at Kirra.
