Junior Domestic Basketball is for children aged 8-16 years old and runs weekly every Monday through to Thursday during school terms from 4.15pm on Courts 1, 2 and 3 at the ARC.  It costs $8.50 to play each week, payable at the ARC office prior to taking the court to play your game.

The new 2019 Winter season will commence from Tuesday 23rd April 2019.  All players must be registered with Warrnambool Junior Basketball before taking the court in the  2019 Winter Season. Registrations are Now Open.


Registration including payment (mastercard or visa card only) to participate in all Warrnambool Basketball Inc. programs is to be completed ONLINE from our website www.warrnambool.basketball.net.au

Registrations will CLOSE on Friday 5th April 2019 @9pm.

Please log onto our website at www.warrnambool.basketball.net.au during the  weekend of the 20th & 21st April 2019 for Tuesday & Wednesday comps. For Monday comps they will be displayed during the weekend of the 27th & 28th April 2019, to find the team that your child has been allocated to and the game times the team has been scheduled to play for the season.  (All age groups except U/10 and Aussie Hoops).

-Go to Competitons/Participation (menu along the top of screen)

-Click Junior Teams  2019 Winter from the drop down options

-Click on age group required – find players name and team

-Then go to Fixtures/Results (menu along the top of screen)

-Click on age group required (fixture)

-Look up team name and playing time for round 1 etc.

Players will receive their team uniform singlet on the night of their first game and will be expected to take care of the singlet for the season. The $10 jersey deposit NO longer applies, if the jersey is not returned at the end of the season, you will be invoiced for the cost of a replacement jersey. Players are required to wear their own black or navy shorts (without pockets). 

Each player must pay $8.50 at the stadium entrance office before being eligible to play. It is not acceptable to play first and then pay during or after the game.

Parents are asked to rotate scoring duties for their childs team during the season. One parent from each team is expected to score for each game. Please ask for scoring help if you are unsure. It is preferred that Primary School children are not used as scorers.

If your child is unable to play a game during the season, please contact the basketball office on 5562 7969 or email warrnamboolbasketballinc@gmail.com for the information to be passed on to the team coach.


 Registration Fee : $60-00 (per season)


Basketball Victoria Country Player Insurance : $40-58

(covers 12 months from October 2018 to September 2019)

If your child played in the 2019 Summer season, you are not requried to pay the insurance again.


Late Fee: $20-00 (if registration completed after closing date)

A reminder - if your name is not printed on the score sheet, we may not have your details and you are running the risk of not being covered by insurance and public liability cover as well as playing ineligible.  Please ensure we have all your details on our database.
