JJVM and GAMETIME Take KUAM 3x3 Championships

With the sun shining down on Guam, last weekend was the perfect weekend to play in the KUAM 3x3 Tournament. Hosted by the local media company KUAM put on the first 3 on 3 basketball tournament played soley by FIBA 3x3 Rules and Regulations. The games were played with two 5 minutes quarters with only a minute break in between quarters and a 12 second shot clock. The game gets challenging, as players have to take the ball out and clear it without getting the ball stolen by the opposing team.

In the high school division, JJVM rose from the loser's bracket and defeated the undefeated team twice to win the divison. They used their outside shooting to quickly get ahead. The team John Ilao, Jarred Meno, Valiant Borja, and Michael Sakazaki. They defeated the Jay Hawks.

In the men's divison, GAMETIME went undefeated. Although all players were members of the Men's National Team, they didn't have an easy time advancing. However, in the end, their training paid off and they won the division.
