...Meanwhile in Osaka !

In Osaka the two I-Kiribati athletes have performed with distinction to raise their own personal best standards.

First on Saturday (Aug. 25), Tim Natua ran in Heat 1. of the 100 metres.   He finished 9th. of 9 but slashed his PB down to 11.51 secs. , running against world-ranked Tyson Gay (USA).   That's called experience !

Then on Sunday (Aug. 26), Lilly Pine ran in Heat 6. of the 100m.   She finished 8th. of 9 and set a new electronic best of 13.86 secs.

Now they have the chance to stay and watch the best performing and probably see something of Osaka too !
