Thank you to our readers !

Even in a quiet month, when we are preparing our team for the OAA Championships in Samoa, there are still people interested in the progress of and news from KAA !   Very encouraging !   And "Thanks" to our readers, regular and occasional !

Your November hits totalled 1451, i.e. almost one hit every 30 minutes !   To a tiny, remote, island web-site !   We hope to maintain a standard which will encourage more and more readers !   This will start with the OAA Grand Prix, the first two meetings of which will be in Suva, Fiji, on Sat. Dec. 9 and Monday, Dec. 11.   The G.P. Group will then fly to Apia, Samoa, to join their national teams for the third G.P. competition and OAA Championships (Open and under-18).   These will include the first OAA Cross-Country Championships early on Weds. Dec. 13, followed by a full programme on the next three days.

The "advance party" leaves Tarawa on Tuesday, Dec. 5 and will arrive in Suva that day.   This group consists of the Grand Prix Squad Coach, Rianimarewe Betero, plus three I-Kiribati male athletes who will compete in the Grand Prix.   (They will be joined by Harry Highland who is currently on a Scholarship at the Oceania-IAAF HPTC in New Zealand.)   The rest of the party will leave Tarawa on Thursday, Dec. 7 and arrive in Samoa on Sat. Dec. 9.   They shoulod all have time to settle before the fun begins !

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
