49er Action, Kurt Competes In Palma, South France

Congratulations GSC sailor Kurt Hansen and his crew Harry Morton who recently competed at the 2018 Sailing World Cup in Hyers. Kurt finished up in 35th position with a best race result of 12th in the men’s 49er class. Kurt was competing against the best in the world in challenging light wind conditions.

He recently said he could ‘get used to training in this place, if it weren’t so cold’. He was also lucky enough to try some fantastic local patisseries in South of France.

Kurt has been competing strongly over the past month, also taking part in the Princess of Sofia regatta in Palma, Spain.
