Team Cook Island arrives in Ashgabat

Athlete Tereapii Tapoki, team official Siniva Marsters and chef de mission Robert Graham arrived in the Central Asian country after a long-haul flight last week. The remaining athletes and officials for the Games, to be held from September 17 to 27, are expected to arrive later in the week

With an average of 32 degress during the day and 15 degrees at night acclimatising to the extreme weather conditions in Ashgabat will be one of the key priorities for the national team. 

The 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games provides a perfect opportunity for the participating athletes to improve on their personal bests and set higher standards. Athletics Cook Islands wishes all athletes the very best at the games.
