Gloucester Magpies first into Grand Final

Gloucester Magpies are the first team into the Newcastle Hunter Rugby League grand final after defeating Paterson River 38-12 in the major semi-final.

They’ll face the winner of the Paterson River and Stroud Raiders game, after Stroud had a narrow win over Hinton in the minor semi-final.

Kotara Bears seek players for A Grade & D Grade

The Kotara Bears Senior Rugby League are on the look out for players and volunteers for the upcoming NHRL season.
The Bears seek players for both A Grade and D Grade sides. Andrew (Boo) Taylor is coaching the A Grade side with Leigh Able as his assistant, and Ryan Sager and Troy Redman will be co-coaching the D Grade side. Training is 6pm Tuesday and Thursday at Hudson Park Kotara.more
