Inductees get chance to see Glory in action

THANKS to Perth Glory, Football Hall of Fame WA inductees have the chance to see WA's only A-League team in action at nib stadium this season.
The Glory, who are now under the leadership of high-profile coach Tony Popovic, have made available 10 free tickets to each home game in the 2018-19 Hyundai A-League.
But only those who have been inducted into the Football Hall of Fame WA (the Hall of Legends, Hall of Champions, Hall of Merit or Hall of Recognition) qualify to take advantage of this generous offer.
Hall of Fame Committee chairman Louis Prospero and the Glory's new CEO, Tony Pignata, met recently to discuss the importance of preserving and maintaining the history of football in WA.
Prospero explained that several former Glory players have been inducted into the Football Hall of Fame WA (ex-Glory goalkeeper Robbie Zabica and ex-Glory coaches Gary Marocchi and Alan Vest are among the Hall of Fame's Legends), and he also outlined the various aspects of the history of football in Western Australia.
"Glory have been a great supporter of the Hall of Fame since its inception in 1996, and Glory club representatives have   attended every induction night since 2002 and have provided 10 free tickets every year to the inductees, as a reward for their services to football in WA," said Prospero.
"We're delighted that the Glory will continue this gesture for the 2018-19 season with 10 tickets available for each home game. It's great that those who were the superstars of the past have the opportunity to see the current and future superstars in action."
Pignata acknowledged the great work of the Football Hall of Fame WA and said: “It’s a pleasure to continue the close relationship with FHOFWA, by rewarding the services of people who have given so much to code."
The Glory kick-off the new season on October 21 with a home game against Western Sydney Wanderers, ironically Popovic's old club which he led to the A-League premiership in 2013 and the Asian Champions League title the following season.
The dates of the Glory home games are: 21 Oct, 3 Nov, 25 Nov, 8 Dec, 21 Dec, 9 Jan, 13 Jan, 23 Jan, 27 Jan, 2 Feb, 16 Feb, 30 Mar, 14 Apr & 28 Apr.
To secure one of the 10 tickets that are on offer for any of the Glory home games, Hall of Fame inductees need to contact Hall of Fame chairman Louis Prospero. His mobile number is: 0413 041 942.
