Sportsmart gives $10,000 boost to NPL clubs and referee

PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Victoria clubs have once again been financially rewarded by FFV major partner and official sports retailer Sportsmart, for their junior teams’ achievements on and off the field with $10,000 through the annual Sportsmart Development Awards.

Over the past three years, Sportsmart has contributed $30,000 to NPL junior clubs as part of these awards.

This season, regional and NPLW clubs will receive vouchers as part of the federation's big focus in aiding the development of regional and women's football.

FFV wishes to congratulate the PlayStation 4 NPL clubs and recognised referees and coaches, who will receive the following:

$4800 – 1 x $150 voucher to all 32 NPL boys clubs going towards sporting equipment for their junior teams

$1600 - 1 x $250 voucher to all 8 NPLW clubs going towards sporting equipment for their junior teams

$1200 – 1 x $200 voucher for all regionally based clubs:

  • Murray United
  • Bendigo City
  • Ballarat Red Devils
  • Goulburn Valley Suns
  • North Geelong Warriors
  • Geelong Galaxy United

$1600 –  1 x $200 voucher to the following clubs who combined development and performance:

  • Box Hill United
  • Pascoe Vale
  • Nunawading City
  • Oakleigh Cannons
  • Moreland Zebras
  • Northcote City
  • Sunshine George Cross
  • Murray United

$800 – 1 X $100 to 8 referees as referee development awards:

  • Max Hanlon
  • Daniel Isaac
  • Alex Nikoloski
  • Jake Keating
  • Alexandra Jarman
  • Samantha Ferraro
  • Sarah Fitzpatrick
  • Emanuella Fierro

Rewarded clubs will be contacted by FFV in regards to distribution of Sportsmart gift cards in due course.
