FFV launches NPL 2014

The National Premier Leagues (NPL) 2014 of Victoria was last night succesfully launched at the Arts Centre in Melbourne.

Former Socceroos captain Paul Wade was the MC for the event, while current Football Federation Australia CEO David Gallop and current Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou were special guests.

More than 100 representatives from the 28 NPL clubs attended and were presented with pennants to mark their participation in the inaugural NPL.

The NPL kicks off at 7.15pm tonight when Heidelberg United hosts South Melbourne, in a match which can be listened to LIVE on www.livecast.com.au or via the TuneIn radio app (search 'Live Cast').

LiveCast will also broadcast Melbourne Knights v Northcote City live on Friday night, and will call one NPL/NPL 1 match live every Friday night for the 2014 season.
