Banking on Football invests in PS4 NPLW

Football Federation Victoria (FFV) is pleased to announce that it has renewed its partnership with Banking on Football to become a major partner of PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria Women's.

Banking on Football also signed a naming rights partnership covering all FFV men's and women's Metropolitan and men's Masters leagues in 2016, complete with new logos for each league and division.

Banking on Football has also joined FFV's new community football business network 'Community in Business' in order to engage with other like-minded businesses and football clubs who share a passion for the world game.

FFV CEO Peter Gome said the renewed partnership with Banking on Football showed the importance of grassroots football to Victorian communities.

"FFV's Metropolitan and Masters leagues are what the game is all about - playing with friends, having fun being active and contributing to the wellbeing of a club community," Mr Gome said.

"It is a perfect fit for Banking on Football, who continue to recognise these values and want to be a key driver in the growth and success of football."

Victorian football participation grew 13% in 2015 while Roy Morgan Research found that for the first time, more Australian girls age 6-13 years old play football than netball.

FFV General Manager - Commercial and Media Anthony Grima said he was delighted with Banking on Football's ongoing investment in community football.

“I am excited that now both the Metropolitan and Masters Leagues have a new look and a new identity which will continue to maximise community football's media and commercial profile thanks to Banking on Football," Mr Grima said.

Banking on Football's partnership with PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria Women's means they are now an active supporter of the Talented Player Pathway between community football and the Westfield W-League.

"I am also delighted that Banking on Football will continue to contribute specifically to the growth of the women's and girls' game through the PlayStation 4 NPLW," Mr Grima said.

Banking on Football allows football fans to do all their banking with someone who shares their passion for football and provides members with the opportunity to support their local grassroots club via the Cash 4 Clubs program. Banking on Football customers can enjoy online banking, loans and deposits, Visa Debit card and Credit card, plus all the other banking services one can expect from a major Australian Financial Institution.

"Banking on Football is delighted to extend its partnership with FFV," Banking on Football CEO Margot Sweeney said.

"I’ve always said that the people of Victoria are arguably the most passionate football supporters in the country and continue to be excited about engaging with them at the grassroots level via our mutually beneficial partnership with FFV."

A media pack containing official Banking on Football Metropolitan and Masters Leagues logos will also be distributed to all clubs and media outlets for use as required.
