Season Head-to-Heads:
South Melbourne 0-1 Bentleigh Greens - Report
Bentleigh Greens 2-2 South Melbourne - Report

Both teams arrive in the Grand Final with a point to prove.

South Melbourne did not beat Bentleigh Greens during the season but finished strong to take the league on goal difference.

Bentleigh squandered a mid-season lead and will be determined to take home the club's first Victorian league title.

"The style of play that we play works perfectly for us to be able to beat South," Bentleigh vice-captain Jack Webster said.

"It's worked on one occasion and we were unlucky not to do the double over them this year.

"We know all about (South's) danger players but we've got good enough players for them to worry more about us than we worry about them.

"There are a few boys still in the team who played in the 2013 final and hopefully we can go on and do the business on Sunday and win it for the club, committee and for ourselves, it's been a long, hard year."

South Melbourne captain Michael Eagar said the two best teams of 2015 were meeting in the final.

"The league was only settled by goal difference, I think personally it's great that the two best teams are in the final and hopefully put on a good showcase.

"Last year our teams were pretty close as well. This year it's been tit-for-tat all the way through the season.

"We're a bullish team, we never feel like we're out of a game. We've been good this year in that plenty of players stepped up when we've needed them."
