The ASC has released some information on concussion in sport that can be used as a valuable resource across our game. This resource has been developed to assist all involved with sport on concussion and what to look for and how to deal with this in the game of rugby league.
he most significant change to the National On Field Policy for ‘community Rugby League’ is the introduction of the League First Aid Qualification. This qualification is specific to on field trainers in the 6-15 age groups.

VESTED PLAYER: Refers to a player in the 8-12 years game who is wearing a vest to signify that they are the designated Dummy Half (DH) or First Receiver (FR).
At a minimum, vests must be rotated at half time in the 8 – 11 year age groups.
Rotation of vests shall be optional in the 12 year age group.....more

If a player does not wish to be selected for Townsville Stingers, then they must compete the attached form ASAP. Players will be looked at from Trial 1 by Selectors. Once the teams are named, if a player withdraws (other than medical reasons) Two weeks suspensions will occur.
