Over 70 players and hundreds of spectators turned out to watch the over 35s Masters competition in Townsville.more

Cowboys in the Grand Final

Every one in Townsville in buzzing with news that the North QLD Cowboys will be in the 2015 NRL Grand Final. Even the local Police are right behind our guys. GO COWBOYSmore

Townsville Junior Maroons Mod Camp

The Townsville Junior Maroons camp was attended by over 100 Rugby League loving children.more


The Annandale Challenge was the biggest school challenge on the NRL’s calendar in Townsville for 2015. 29 Teams competed eventually within 3 tiers, including 2 all girl teams. Outer Townsville city schools like Charters Towers Central, Richmond Hill, Queens Beach, Ingham, Palm & Magnetic Island schools all participated. The experience was fantastic for all 9 & 10 year olds on the day which seen clmore


The Gala Day seen 17 teams, 200 kids competing in a fun action packed day of football to finish off the TDJRL season. The day was held at Centrals JRL where clubs all over Townsville participated including some outer region teams including Herbert River Crushers, Hughenden Hawks and Bowen Seagulls.more


The U8’s challenge seen 16 teams with just under 200 kids competing in an entertaining day of football for all to celebrate the completion of the TDJRL season. This event was held at Norths JRL as clubs from all over Townsville participated including the Herbert River Crushers making the trek south.

All players thoroughly enjoyed the day.more

Paul played for NQ Cowboys in Townsville and the QLD Maroons, He is an absolute legend of the game and its great this carnival is named after him.more
