The application process has commenced for the Oceania Australia Foundation US Scholarship program intake for August 2017.
This scholarship provides two years of education and sports competition at selected US Junior Colleges

The Fiji women’s 4x100m relay team has won gold in the final this afternoon after Younis Bese beat her opponent in the last baton exchange.

Papua New Guinea was in the lead after Pacific Sprint Queen Toea Wisil created a big gap in the second baton exchange.

Fiji managed to hold the gap before Bese came off strongly to beat her PNG opponent.

Oceania Australia Foundation scholarship holder Eunice Bese won the silver medal in the Women's 100m at the Pacific Games in Port Moresby. Eunice was beaten by PNG's champion sprinter Toea Wisil.

Eunice will now prepare for the World Athletics Championships in China next month before she heads off to study in the US as one of four Fijian athletes studying and training for the next three years.

Four young Fijians were awarded a scholarship to train and attend college in theUS. After a successful Coke games, the two girls will head to Cairns to compete in the Oceania Championships and then the Pacific Games in July.

Our four scholarship recipients were presented to the ONOC Assembly in Suva today.

Fijian Volleyballer Mere Serea, a US scholarship participant, has made the All-American team for the 2014 - 2015 season.

Currently attending the New Mexico Military Institure, Serea recieved an Honorable Mention, capping off a competitive year.
