Samoa Weightlifting announces 9 man team for Pacific Games 2015

The Samoa Weightlifting Federation has named its team for the upcoming South Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea. The Federation has named a strong team of 5 men & 3 women athletes.

President Tuaopepe Jerry Wallwork said the selection process was not easy and the team has been selected on Gold medal prospects only.

The team has been training hard all year and has been in camp over the past 6 weeks. The Weightlifting Team has a goal and that is to win Gold medals for Samoa at these games. The preparations have been good and the lifters are in excellent form prior to the games.
