THE Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) President, Louise Martin CBE declared the Commonwealth ‘more relevant than ever before’ as she spoke to a global TV audience of 1.5 billion people at the opening of the XXI Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, Australia last night.

IOC And IPC To Partner Until 2032

Thomas bach and andrew parsons, the respective presidents of the international olympic committee (ioc) and the international paralympic committee (ipc), today signed a historic long-term agreement establishing a partnership between the two organisations until at least 2032.

IOC Approves Warawara and Rii for Scholarships

The International Olympic Committee has approved the awarding of Athlete Training scholarships to two Vanuatu athletes, Boe Warawara (boxing) and Rillio Rio Rii (rowing).
The scholarships will provide funding for both athletes leading up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and will allow them to access the best facilities available.
