TASA approved Boxers to train in UK

The TASA Executive Committee also endorsed and approved the potential boxers to be based in the United Kingdom under the LOCOG Pre-Games Training Camp (PGTC) which scheduled to start later this month. The boxers are Uaine Fa (a.k.a Junior Fa), Tevita Saimone Pomale and Kosilio Anthony Helu with Kosilio Helu as Guardian/Coach. Tevita Pomale will continue from there to take part in the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Isle of Man in September and return home with Kosilio while Lomalito Moala will join the camp with Lolo Heimuli for week before travelling to Baku, Azerbaijan for the AIBA World Championship in late September. The AIBA Championship is a qualifying event for the London2012 Olympics and Tonga hopes that Uaine and Lomalito may go through even though it will be a very tough asking.

Tonga looks forward for putting a very strong boxing contingent for next year Oceania qualification which is a must win situation for any boxer if he is to compete in London next year.
