Ms Mel Donald

Ms. Donald was elected in 2004 as the Snr Vice President for PNGSFOC, she was re-elected in 2008 to serve a second term.  Mel is also the President for the PNG Shooting Association and Treasurer for the PNG Archery Association. more -->

Mr. Stan Walker, ML

Mr. Walker was elected as the Male Vice President in 2004,  He is also the President of the PNG Mens Golf Association and is a member of the Constitutional Review Committee and the Sports Disputes Tribunal.

Ms. Tamzin Wardley

Ms. Wardley is the Treasurer and is a member of the Fundraising Committee, Admin. Committee and is currently the Chef de Mission for Team PNG to the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India and was the Chef de Mission for Team PNG to the South Pacific Games in Samoa. She was also the Chef de Mission for Team PNG to the 2005 Mini South Pacific Games in Palau and the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. She was the General Team Manager for Team PNG to the 2003 SPG in Fiji. more -->

Mr. Syd Yates, MBE

Mr. Yates has been the Chairman of the Fundraising Committee for over 11 years.  He is also a member of the PNGSFOC Admin Committee, and the Justification Committee.  Mr. Yates was the Chef de Mission to the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. more -->

Mr Vincent Bull

Mr Bull is the Legal Advisor for PNGSFOC, he was elected at the 2009 AGM and is a member of the Constituitional Review Committee, Sports Disputes Tribunal, Justification Committee and is involved with the PNG Shooting Association.

Alex Davani

Alex Davani is a current member of the PNG men's soccer team and lawyer by profession attached with Esso PNG.  In his capacity as Chairman of the Athletes Commission he is an automatic member of the Executive Board.

Karo Lelai

Under the amended PNGSFOC Constitution, the Deputy Chair is a member of the Executive Board.  Karo was the captain for the PNG women's basketball team and recently retired after the Pacific Games in Noumea.

She is a lawyer by profession and Corporate Secretary for Petromin.

Late Mr. Bruce Flynn, OBE

Late Mr. Flynn is a  life member of the PNG Sports Federation & Olympic Committee. 

Mr Flynn has made an immense contribution to Papua New Guinea, on the corporate front, in the community, charity and in sports development.

Among many of his achievements in sports the innaugural SP Fun Run in 1983 set the stage for what is now the biggest sport for all and fundraising activity for PNGSFOC. Apart from SP Brewery's official sponsorship of the 1991 South Pacific Games in PNG he also played a vital role in the marketing committee, securing up to K18 million in cash and kind. At the time Bruce Flynn was General Manager of SP Brewery.

Late Mrs. Rita Flynn, MBE

Mrs. Rita Flynn is also a Life Member of PNGSFOC.  She is also the Patron and Life Member of the PNG Netball Federation.  She was honoured the naming rights to the famous Rita Flynn Netball Courts in Boroko, Port Moresby.

Late Mr. Sam Piniau, OBE

Late Mr. Piniau is the first national Life Member of PNGSFOC.

Mr. Randhir Varma, MBE

Mr. Varma had served PNGSFOC as Treasurer over the last 20 years and recently retired.  He was nominated unianimously at the 2004 AGM as a life member.

Mrs. Veitu Diro, MBE

Mrs. Diro has been one of the longest serving Executive Board member and is appointed a life member at the 2006 AGM after she resigned from the PNGSFOC Board.  She is a member of the National Sports Trust Ltd Board.

She is also the Women In Sports Committee and is actively involved in coaching Netball, Basketball, and Softball.  She is currently the Coach for the PNG Basketball Team. Mrs Diro resigned in December 2006 to join the PNG Sports Foundation Board.

Port Moresby 2015

On 27 September 2009, the Pacific Games Council, at its meeting coinciding with the 2009 Pacific Mini Games, elected Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea as the host of the 2015 Games. The final vote was 25-22 in favor of Port Moresby over Tonga to host.

The Games will be held from 4 to 18 July 2015.
