VIDEO: Getting ready for action with The Marshall Islands.

We caught up with 50m freestyle swimmer Ann-Marie Hepler and 100m sprinter Timi Garstang, a week before they competed at their first Olympic Games.

The athletes were both attending a delegation meal on the Thames with the President of The Marshall Islands, Christopher Loeak. We asked how training was going, and what they are hoping to achieve whilst competing.

VIDEO: Team Marshall Islands Reflect on the 30th Olympic Opening Ceremony

We met up with 50m Freestyle swimmer Giordan Harris and 800m runner Haley Nemra, and got their thoughts on the opening ceremony and what was going through their minds as the world was watching.

Haley Nemra was the flag bearer for The Marshall Islands at this years Olympics and she talks of her nerves and excitement walking into the 80,000 seater stadium.

VIDEO: Marshall Islands President Christopher Loeak supports Marshallese Olympic athletes

We spoke to Christopher Loeak, President of The Marshall Islands, down at Tower Bridge to get his thoughts on the opening ceremony of the 30th Olympiad.

President Loeak was attending a meeting with The Marshall Islands Olympic team on the thames.

VIDEO: An update on Team RMI - The Marshall Islands

We spoke to Marshallese swimmer Giordan Harris and 800m runner Haley Nemra at the Oceania public welcome event, here in London, to catch up on how preparations are going ahead of the Games and how they are finding life in the athletes village.

At this public event, all 15 islands took the chance to announce their countries flag bearer for the Olympic opening ceremony, The Marshall Islands were proud to present Haley Nemra, who also competed in the Beijing Olympics, as their flag bearer.
