2015 OSEP Annual Report

In 2015, ONOC launched its new 3-year strategic plan. The plan consists of
four pillars of Leading by example, Building NOC capacity, Promoting sporting
excellence and Promoting community sport for change. OSEP aligned its
activities to the second pillar of “Building NOC capacity” with the strategic
objective of “Support and develop activities & expertise within NOCs.”

Paintball activity - an analogy of strategic planning

Oceania MOSO III participants were part of a unique paintball skirmish game after unit 1 of their training. With a heavy focus on fun and physical activity given the long hours of training, the activity was an opportunity to bring home the importance of strategic planning, developing SMART objectives and strategies and operationalising their plans to reach their vision.
