2012 FIBA U19 Oceania Pacific Youth Basketball Championships

Basketball Fiji's U19 Girls & Boys Teams gearing up for 2012 FIBA Oceania Pacific Youth Basketball Championship, to be held in Northways Road Churchill VIC Australia from 24th November - 2nd December 2012.

Uprising Beach Resort are the proud sponsors of the teams competition and casual wear, the resorts Operations Manager, Mr. James Pridgeon, after words of encouragement, handed the teams their uniforms.

 Organisers, Latrobe City Council Events said that the event had attracted 16 teams who will bring a true international flavour to Latrobe City with teams from Tahiti, Fiji, PNG, New Caledonia, Guam, New Zealand, Samoa and Australia. Teams will be involved in numerous community engagement activities while there and will also invest time to promote themselves, their countries and basketball, particularly to the youth of our community.
