Basics with ONOC Secretary Generals

ORADO Presentation- Summary:

The concept of establishing RADO is to provide resource and fiscally responsible mechanism to establish and implement anti-doping programs in different regions of the world, which are strategically governed and directed by member countries. RADO assist with overall anti-doping strategies and may carry out functions such as testing, results management, appeals and manage Therapeutice Use Exemptions (TUE) as well as develop and disseminate education materials. RADO facilitate member countries' compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code.

In order for such an initiative to be successful the support from both the government and National Olympic Committee (NOC) in each member country is crucial.

RADO contributes to the right for athletes to compete in doping-free sport by ensuring that all athletes, from all sports and all countries are subject to the same processes and protocols.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
