For the first time, the Pacific Games Council's Executive Board will welcome an athlete into its ranks, with the election of an athletes' representative taking place at the 2011 Pacific Games.
The three candidates are Carl Probert (Fiji), Diane Bui-Duyet (New Caledonia) and Anolyn Lulu (Vanuatu).
All athletes registered to participate in the 2011 Pacific Games will be eligible to vote.
Voting will take place in the Athletes' Village throughout the two-week Pacific Games period and the winner will be announced at the Closing Ceremony.
