ANZ Super Kicked off

The ANZ Super Six Basketball Championship Championship had kicked off last week end on a very high note with the inclusive of 1 RAMSI Mens Team, 1 RSIP participatin police force team and also RAMSI & PPF Womens who had spread out in joing some local womens team in the competition, which has boost the moral of the Super Six and also the game itself.

A total of nine Mens team(s) and 7 Womens team(s) had entered in the ANZ Super Six. The SIBF Committee had agreed to increase the number of team(s) from 6 to 9 for Mens and 6 to 7 for Womens following the increased number of teams who had shown their interest to take part in the competition.

Solomon Island Federation is working on ways to conduct the ANZ Super Six Championship effectively in terms of administratively as it will pave ways to other future proposed basketball championship, especially the Solomon Game Basketball Championship in June 2004.

The SIBF would like to thank the ANZ Management for their generous support in sponsoring the major prize of the tournament.
