9th Oceania Outdoor Target Championships

Oceania Outdoor Target Championships

The conditions today at the grounds provided some challenge to the archers at the FITA distances (90,70,60,50,30 metres) with the strong cool winds blowing from left to right before changing after lunch to behind the archers.

Later in the day the archers were treated to a procession through the town centre in Classic cars to the Opening reception, where they were treated to a welcome from the local community and school band.

Competition starts tomorrow at 8.30am, spectators welcome.
