National soccer coach Lee Sterrey dropped a bombshell in his team's preparations against the visiting Indian National soccer side after axing ace Ba striker Keni Doidoi from his side.

It is understood Doidoi consumed liquor after a team training session. Lee had emphasised to the players that drinking and enjoying social life will not be tolerated in his camp.

Lee failed to specify the exact reason for dropping the star striker, but said its something to do with discipline.

He said players must be responsible for their personal fitness prior to crucial tournaments. He said players get to gain a lot of weight which decreases their endurance when a lot of liquor is consumed.

Fiji is preparing for three test matches against the touring India side in August.

Indian recently defeated Pakistan 1-0 in their friendly encounter.

Prior to that the visitors defeated Kuwait - a side which is ranked in the top 50 by FIFA. Fiji and India are ranked 138 and 134 respectively.
