1. It is a condition of entry that each team provide a non-playing referee OR two playing referees [this is to reduce the work load on the player that referees.]
Non-playing referees will be paid; their accommodation at a selected Motel will be paid for together with a meal allowance.
The Sale Touch Association has reserved rooms at one motel; referees will be accommodated at this motel.
Any referee wishing to use a different motel will ONLY BE PAID the rate the same as that at the motel where Sale Touch Association has reserved rooms.
i.e. Should a referee wish to go up market to a B&B we, the Sale Touch Association WILL ONLY PAY that referee the rate equal to that of the motel that the Association has booked.
Where a referee shares with another person [not a referee] that person will pay 50% of the cost of the room.
A meal allowance plus a drink allowance will be paid for both Friday and Saturday night. Where a referee only referees on one day the accommodation, meal allowance and drink allowance will only be paid for the night prior to that to be refereed.
Canteen: All eats and drinks on the day that the referee officiates may be booked up at the canteen. Detail will be given at the referee meeting prior to each day's play.
AT THIS STAGE NO OTHER MONIES WILL BE PAID
Playing referees will be paid an allowance for each game refereed.
THE AMOUNT WILL BE ADVISED CLOSER TO THE KNOCKOUT
