Code of Conduct

This Code aims to ensure our core values, good reputation and positive behaviours and attitudes are maintained and that everyone involved in our sport is aware of his or her legal and ethical rights and responsibilities.

Member Protection

This Member Protection Policy aims to ensure our core values, good reputation and positive behaviours and attitudes are maintained. It assists us in ensuring that every person involved in our sport is treated with respect and dignity, and is safe and
protected from abuse.

Child Protection

All persons employed in child related work, either paid or as a volunteer, must hold a valid Ochre Card issued by the SAFE NT Screening Authority.

Selection

The following policy is designed to provide a clear and transparent framework to establish a process for the Touch Football NT to select the teams that will give the best possible result for Touch Football NT.

Alcohol

Touch Football NT aims to promote healthy living and lifestyle supporting the responsible consumption of alcohol at all events, competitions and activities.

Smoke Free Environment

Touch Football NT promotes a healthy lifestyle and smoke free sporting environment, and is required by Northern Territory legislation to ban smoking in all enclosed areas and provide a designated area for smoking.

Anti Doping

The purpose of this policy is to protect Athletes’ fundamental right to participate in doping-free sport and to ensure coordinated and effective antidoping programs at the international and national level with regard to detection, deterrence and prevention of doping.
