Family: Partner, Rhiannon

Football Experience: No playing; Football Operations Manager of RDFNL 2009-2010, Interleague Team Manager RDFNL 2010-2011, RDFNL Board Member 2013-2014.

Other sporting interests: Cricket (have held roles on Committees, including President and Secretary, Junior Coordinator and Coach at club and representative level), and follow Baseball, Gridiron among others exposed to at my day job.

Professional experience: Currently Executive Officer of FedUni WestVic Academy of Sport; where we work with talented athletes and their supporters to provide services to assist their progress along their pathway.

Sporting Achievements: Wasn't a great athlete but did compete at a National and State Championship in Ten Pin Bowling in my early years. Off the field, being awarded life membership of my local cricket club in 2012; being Secretary at Footscray-Edgewater CC in their Victorian Premier Cricket first XI premiership year was a special time...so many people involved at the club had been involved the entire 34 years since our last one; and being at WestVic during a time where many athletes have achieved national selection and competition medals.

Favourite sporting moment: Too many to name! I've had the privilege to see many of the greatest athletes of all time compete in person...outside of cricket and footy; Michael Schumacher, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, Steph Gilmore and Kelly Slater, David Beckham, etc. Locally, being part of any premiership or season where we exceeded expectations or reached our potential is a great feeling.

AFL team supported: Collingwood

Your five dream dinner guests: Bill Simmons, Rudy Giuliani, Michael Schumacher, Sally Fitzgibbons, TBA.

Why did I join the AFL Goldfields Commission?: To lend my experience from working with a wide variety of sports, with mostly volunteers and in clubs and associations; to help footy and netball in the region progress.

Where do you see football in the AFL Goldfields region in five years time?: Different to today; with new clubs, new approaches to delivery of footy and netball and with greater support for administrators.

What excites you about football in the AFL Goldfields Region?: The fact that footy and netball mean so much to so many people, and the opportunity that presents to grow both of these great games.
