Venue Information
Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) is an international standard sporting venue, and is one of the largest integrated sports and leisure complexes in Australia. The venue will play host to several sports during the Melbourne 2002 World Masters Games, allowing competitors to get a taste of some of the other sports being played at the Games.
The venue has 10 championship all glass squash courts, including a four wall glass court with seating for 300 spectators.
How to get There
Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre
Car: Located on Aughtie Drive, on the edge of Albert Park Lake. The main Vehicular entry to the Centre is off Albert Road, by the corner of Aughtie Dve. Pedestrians can enter at Albert Road, Wright Street, or from Aughtie Drive.
Tram: From the CBD take a Tram or Light Rail to the Park. Take Tram number 96 to St. Kilda Beach, which runs from the CBD. Disembark from stop number 128 or 129, Albert or Wright Street respectively. Also from the CBD take Tram number 112 (formerly number 12) South Melb/ St. Kilda Beach Tram. Disembark from stop number 131 on Albert Road.
Please be advised that Parking at the Centre will be very limited, you are advised to make use of Public Transport.
