Futsal Season

NOTE:  A female player must be 15 years of age as at 31 December 2016 to participate in Senior Competitions. A male player must be 16 years of age as at 31 December 2016 to participate in Senior Competitions.

Townsville Basketball Association

NOTE: Alternative venues may be used during the season if regular venues are unavailable.

REGISTRATION FEES

$50 per player -

This fee covers player registration and insurance with Football Queensland and FFA Fees

Team registration must include a minimum of 7 players.

A player needs to register on MyFootballClub for NQ Futsal Season.  The full amount of registration must be paid before the commencement of the competition to enable the player to participate. Fees are non-refundable once a player plays their first game.

MATCH FEES  

$65 per team per game. Payable on the night of the game

This fee covers all expenses including:

• Match Fees
• Hall Hire
• Nets
• Competition Manager Fees
• Referee Fees
• Wages
• Equipment - goals, nets, balls, bibs
• Administration Costs
• Medals

TEAM BOND REQUIRED

Team to pay a "Bond" of $130. Should a team forfeit a fixture then they will lose the full bond of $130 as they will be held liable for the match fees of both teams. The forfeiting team must therefore replace their bond prior to playing the next scheduled game.

At the conclusion of the competition teams will be refunded their bond money or it may be utilized to pay for the finals.

This "Bond" is necessary to ensure the organisations costs are met should a game be forfeited.

TEAMS

A match is played by two teams each consisting of not more than 5 players with one of those being the goalkeeper.  Team registration must include a minimum of 7 players. Your team can consist of up to 14 players (9 substitutes).  During the course of the game substitutions are unlimited.

MATCH

Each match will comprise of two (2) x twenty (20) minute halves with one (2) two minute half time break.Teams will play 1 match each week during this season as it runs in conjunction with outdoor football.

JERSEYS 

Teams are responsible for organising and purchasing their own jerseys

• Players must wear matching team jerseys including socks
• Goalkeepers shall wear colours that distinguish them from other players and the referee
• Shoes with non-marking soles - no outdoor boots
• Players must wear shin pads
