Development Courses

The Association Development Course is the second level of Refereeing courses Australia wide.    Norths are very proud to be offering this course as part of the Basketball Australia Refereeing education and grading matrix.  

This course has been developed for those who have previously completed all of the requirements of the Association Community Course (theory and practical) and are comfortable running opposite a mentor and are looking to improve their skill set to include a higher level of basketball and better understanding of Refereeing mechanics. 

Minimum requirements for attendance at this course include:

- At least 13yrs of age

- At least 2yrs refereeing experience

- Previously attended the Association Community course and passed the exam

- Currently hold an Association Community badge 

 

We offer 4 Association Development Courses per year:

- Sunday 28th February (9am - 1pm) - CLOSED

- Sunday 29th April (9am - 1pm) - CLOSED

- Saturday 2nd June (9am - 1pm) - POSTPONED due to lack of numbers

- Saturday 3rd November (9am - 1pm) - Registration opening in October
